According to the General Department of Customs and The General Statistics Office of Vietnam, as of July 15, Viet Nam’s trade with the rest of the world exceeded US$403 billion (export items valued at US$216.4 billion).
According to the General Statistics Office, Viet Nam’s GDP was estimated to grow by 7.72 percent in the second quarter. This is the fastest growth pace in the second quarter during the dedicate. With this growth rate, GDP expanded 6.42 percent in the first half of this year.
During this month, there were 69,570 cases confirmed. In general, as of May 31, 2022, Vietnam’s Ministry of Health confirmed a total of 10,719,379 cases of infection. The most severely hit areas are Ha Noi Capital, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Nghe An Province, Bac Giang Province and Binh Duong Province.
